Each of our homes has a Recreational Activities Officer that plans and conducts meaningful, social activities which are designed to meet the needs of individual residents. Activity programs may include pass times such as Thai Chi, cooking, exercise classes, art and craft, sus trips and outings, music and entertainment as well as individual programs designed to meet the needs and likes of each resident.

We have a team of volunteers at each home who work to enhance our programs, family and friends are also encouraged to participate.

Our Recreational Activities Officers work closely with the Clinical and Care teams to develop programs that meet the needs of each resident, and all staff are encouraged to get to know each resident’s background and history, so that residents are supported and encouraged to maintain past interests and hobbies.
